What could be better than relaxing in the sauna after an eventful day?
 
The Seehotel Schlierseer Hof offers a Finnish sauna and an infrared cabin exclusively for our house guests. 
 
Due to the currently valid hygiene regulations, our sauna area can only be used after prior reservation. 
 
In addition, we offer pampering salt and honey scrubs - please ask at reception.
 
Our sauna opens daily from 12:00 - 21:30 pm and can currently be booked exclusively for 50 minutes.
 
 

 

SLYRS & Lantenhammer

 
 
The SLYRS whiskey distillery and the Lantenhammer adventure distillery are nationally 
renowned destinations for learning more about spirits and also tasting them.
 
Make ideal use of a rainy day and visit both attractions after only 5-10 minutes by car 
from the Seehotel Schlierseer Hof.
 

On the Slope 

 

 SCHLIERSEE/SPITZINGSEE

 

Since Alpenbahnen Spitzingsee GmbH took over the lift operations around the Stümpfling and Roßkopf mountains in 2003, around 22 million euros have been invested in the ski area. The new construction of the Roßkopf lift is part of an extensive modernisation concept for the traditional and popular ski area just outside Munich. Within the framework of the concept, the following projects have been realised so far: Construction of two new detachable quad chairs with weather protection bonnets. Construction of a new restaurant at the top station of the Stümpfling, full snowmaking on the two main runs and other parts of the area, as well as the expansion and improvement of the infrastructure, commissioning of a new children's lift and construction and commissioning of a floodlight system along the Stümpfling run. On Thursdays and Fridays, floodlight skiing takes place until 22:00.

 

SKI BUS DIRECTLY FROM THE HOTEL

 

The ski bus takes you from the Seehotel Schlierseer Hof directly to the Spitzingsee ski area every hour - the 15-minute ride is free for you with the guest card!

 

SKI AREA SUDELFELD

 
 

The Sudelfeld ski paradise is only about 15 minutes by car from the hotel and is the largest connected ski area in Germany.

With 32 kilometres of slopes of all levels of difficulty at altitudes between 800 and 1,563 metres above sea level, there is something for everyone. Families with children in particular get their money's worth here, in the middle of the Wendelstein region and the Bavarian Alps. 

The best way to get from the hotel to the Sudelfeld ski area is by car and there are large parking spaces right by the lift.

Ski tours from Taubenstein (Spitzingsee) - Wednesdays and Thursdays the huts are open until 22:00! Family-friendly toboggan runs at the Obere Firstalm with floodlights until 22:00.

ROMANCE AND WINTER SPORTS IN THE REGION



Enjoy the moment on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride and be thrilled by the wintry atmosphere. Rides are available in Schliersee, Spitzingsee and Fischbachau by advance booking - we will be happy to help you.

Are you an enthusiastic cross-country skier or would you like to learn this wonderful sport? There is an extensive cross-country centre in Bayrischzell and smaller trails in Schliersee, Spitzing and Neuhaus.

With a bit of luck, the lakes like Schliersee and Spitzingsee are frozen over and give you the unique opportunity to go ice skating on the natural ice rink.
